Competitions

Screenplay: Zürich Film Festival Competition

Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF) and Telepool Zürich collaborate with Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) to present the second Treatment Award. In doing so, these long-term partners highlight the importance of screenwriting in Switzerland. Authors are invited to submit a feature-film treatment with a strong link to Switzerland on the theme of «civil courage». A three-person jury judges the submitted treatments and chooses both the finalists and the overall winner. The winner receives a CHF 5’000 cash prize and a contribution of CHF 25’000 towards screenplay development.
